Sometimes the work in the European Parliament tends to be captured of proposals dealing with regulations of the most odd kinds. This day we voted on a report regulationg sizes of packaging.
But on the other hand, today I had a visitors group where my friend Tune Kelam described the Estonian way to freedom, democracy and Europe.
He is one of the heroes of our time. He stood up for freedom when institutions like KGB and Gulag were reality. The freedom and security we have gained since then is what Europe is really about.
